Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the results of the Class 10 board examinations on Friday on its official website, mpresults.nic.in.
Nearly 13 lakh students had appeared for the Class 10 exam.
This year the state board decided to declare both the Class 10 and Class 12 exam at the same time instead of announcing these separately.
According to MPBSE chairperson SR Mohanty, the decision was taken to make students stress free.
“Earlier, the result of Class 12 used to be declared first and after a gap of a week, the result of Class 10 was declared. Thus, for about a week the students of Class 10 remained in stress and the news of the failure of students in Class 12 used to disturb them a lot,” Mohanty said.
