Zombie Anarchy is a fun game and will keep you thoroughly engaged.
Last month has been pretty impressive as far as mobile games are concerned. We saw several high-profile console game franchises making a debut on Android and iOS platforms with gameplay attuned for smaller screen. While some of them like the FIFA Mobile have been disappointing, the likes of Mafia 3 and Banner Saga 2 have looked good.
Here are some other interesting new apps and games that were launched last month on Android and iOS without much hype, but are quite interesting.
Plants vs Zombies Heroes
Free
Available on Android, iOS
Published by EA Sports
Developed by EA Sports, Plant vs Zombies Heroes is a bit different from the earlier games in the series. Instead of stopping zombies from damaging and taking over the garden lawn, in the new game, players have to collect cards. Every card represents a plant with incredible powers. The objective is to build a squad of such plants and engage in turn-based combats with zombies. It doesn’t feel as challenging as the earlier games but is surely a treat for fans of the genre as it has been two years since anything showed up in the series.
Zombie Anarchy
Free
Published by Gameloft
Available on Android, iOS
Most of the mobile games inspired by the Resident Evilfranchise have been simple point-and-shoot games where the objective is to kill as many infected people as possible. Zombie Anarchy is the first proper strategy game on the subject which allows players to pitch a camp in a badly infected part of the city, fortify it with high walls and watch towers, arm fighters with weapons, and gather food and other items. The players get to use this as a base from where they can attack zombie camps. It is a fun game and will keep you thoroughly engaged.

This is a stutter-free Android launcher with a very minimalistic design. It’s designed to make browsing for your apps easier and faster, which explains the three-page interface. The default page shows all the primary apps that you require on a daily basis. Sliding towards left shows recent contacts that you talk to more often than others, followed by the app widgets chosen by you. Sliding to the right shows all the apps on the phone. There is a feature called frozen mode which allows users to freeze notifications and updates from apps they can’t uninstall but don’t want to use.
Chrome Canary
Free

Published by Google
Google Canary is a mobile browser for users who want to be a part of Google’s experiments with new features for its Chrome browser. This app is illustrative of the early stages of Chrome’s development cycle and is likely to get updated almost daily with new features. Some of these features will be carried forward and seen in later stages such as dev or beta version of the app. One of the cool features that we like and which you won’t get on the existing Chrome browser is the news page which shows by simply swiping up on the Google homepage.

This is a social networking platform for mobile gamers. Users can login only with their Facebook accounts but can challenge anyone on Moove for a game of Bump It or Jengatrix. It is an online platform and requires active internet connection. There is a chat window within the app where you can chat with people you are playing with during the game. The only limitation is that there are very few games on it and they are mostly simple board-based puzzles. It is good for casual gamers who are more into simple puzzle games.

This works only with small duration video songs form Bollywood movies. Users can also take pictures of a dress in a showroom and the app will find and show them similar looking dresses with slight variations along with the price.
