HIGHLIGHTS
Vivo V5, Oppo F1s, Gionee S6s are among the top mid-range selfie phones
All three have similar features, with only a few differences
The three smartphones all cost under Rs. 18,000
Vivo on Tuesday showcased the V5 smartphone with a 20-megapixel camera in the front in the Indian market at Rs. 17,980. The new smartphone offers a bunch of front camera features that will delight all selfie lovers in the country, such as a LED flash in front and filters and software enhancements aimed at making your selfies shine.

However, Vivo V5 is not the only selfie-focussed smartphone you can buy under Rs. 18,000. Oppo and Gionee already have their selfie phones – Oppo F1s (Rs. 17,990) and Gionee S6s (Rs. 17,999), respectively – in the market, with features similar to the ones that the Vivo V5 offers. There are subtle differences of course, but making the final buying decision is quite difficult considering how similar the three smartphones are.
