Deal: Motorola is discounting its phones by up to $150

With the holidays inching closer, the deals are heating up. We recently told you about Amazon putting some of its Prime Exclusive devices on sale and Verizon discounting the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL by $300. Now, Motorola is getting in on the action and slashing prices on its phones by up to $150.

Moto E4 Plus

The most inexpensive device included in the sale is the Moto E4 Plus. It comes in at a bargain-basement price of $159.99 for the 16 GB model. That’s a $20 savings over its normal $179.99 asking price. If you need a little more storage, you can get the 32 GB model for $169.99, a $30 savings. The Moto E4 Plus has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 720p display, and 5,000 mAh battery.

Moto G5 Plus

The Moto G5 Plus is Motorola’s great mid-tier phone, and its only sale too. Right now, you can grab the model with 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM for just $239.99, a $60 savings. If you want to save a little bit more, you can grab the 32 GB/2 GB model for $199, a $30 savings. The phones both have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, a 5.2-inch display, fingerprint scanner, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Moto X4

Halfway through our list of deals, we find the Moto X4. It’ll only cost you $349 to pick up this beauty, a $50 savings. As you may know, the X lineup used to be Motorola’s flagship series, but it has since moved down as a bit of a bridge between the mid-tier and flagship lineup. The X4 has the very reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, this is not the Android One version which we raved about in our review.

Moto Z

Sometimes the best deal is picking up last year’s flagship. If you’re of this mindset, Motorola has a deal for you. 2016’s Moto Z is on sale for just $424.99 right now, an $75 savings. It still has relatively modern specs like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, and a 13 MP camera. The strike against the Moto Z has always been its 2,600 mAh battery, which is tiny compared to most flagships.

Moto Z2 Play

You can also pick up the Moto Z2 Play for just $349.99, a savings of $150. For that price, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone is a solid mid-tier phone that’s probably priced too high most of the time, but the $349 sale price makes it quite compelling.
